On World Environment Day 2025 the Wildlife Department of the Rajasthan Government launched a major initiative for wildlife tourism in Jaipur. The city now proudly hosts three leopard safaris, with the inauguration of the Beed Papad–Maila Bagh Leopard Safari in the northern part of Jaipur.
This launch makes Jaipur the first city in India with three dedicated leopard safaris—Jhalana, Amagarh and now the Beed Papad Leopard Safari.
About Beed Papad Leopard Safari
The newly opened Beed Papad Leopard Safari Jaipur is located in the Maila Bagh and Beed Papad forest zones, part of the - Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary safari. There are around 22 leopards and 12 water ponds in the area making it a prime spot for wildlife lovers and photographers.
This Safari covers a track of approximately 22 km and is built near the Aravalli hills. The Safari will be a thrilling experience for tourists. It provides an excellent opportunity to see leopards in their natural habitat.
- The forest department has enriched the area with the following facilities:
- Improved facilities for visitors
- The Restored grasslands for prey species
- Water reservoirs for wildlife sustainability
- 10 registered safari vehicles for guided tours

Beed Papad Leopard Safari is accessible from Vidyadhar Nagar, a prominent locality in North Jaipur. Safari near Vidyadhar Nagar Jaipur is popular among tourists.

- One goes to Kishan Bagh.
- Other connects from New Biological Park to Audhi Ramsagar.

Safari Timings
The Beed Papad Leopard Safari operates in two-time slots:
